BRITNEY STILL UNDER FATHER’S CONTROL
Jamie Spears' coconservatorship over his daughter's estimated $100 million estate has been extended until July 31, Los Angeles Superior Court spokesman Alan Parachini said Wednesday.
No other details were given, but the temporary power Britney's dad has had over her affairs was scheduled to expire on Monday, and it's well-documented that Jamie and his attorneys have been adamant about stopping efforts made on Britney's behalf to wrest control away from the conservators, including a recent move apparently orchestrated by Sam Lutfi to transfer the case to federal court.
Jamie and attorney Andrew Wallet were named coconservators of Britney's finances and Jamie was put in charge of her welfare on Feb. 1, the day after the Blackout artist was admitted to UCLA Medical Center's psych ward for evaluation, her second hospitalization that month.
CHRISTIAN WINS PROJECT RUNWAY
Christian Siriano sewed up the top spot on Project Runway Wednesday, beating out Jillian Lewis and Rami Kashou for the victory. The 21-year-old designer is the youngest winner in the show's history.
SWAYZE BATTLES BRAVELY
Patrick Swayze is undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer but does not have just weeks to live, the actor's reps and doctor said Wednesday.
"Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment so far," Dr. George Fisher, Swayze's personal physician, said in a statement. "All of the reports stating the timeframe of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue."
Fisher's remarks were in rebuttal to the National Enquirer, which broke the news of Swayze's illness on its website and said the Dirty Dancing star had recently dropped 20 pounds and been given only five weeks to live.
"Patrick is continuing his normal schedule during this time," the actor's reps said, "which includes working on upcoming projects."
PIVEN THINKS HE’S SINGLE
JEREMY Piven doesn't seem to know he has a serious girlfriend. The Entourage star, who's supposedly in love with model Lillian Grant, continues to hit on women at every party he goes to in New York. The Microsoft bash at the Twelve21 club Monday was no exception. "He collected a lot of numbers," said a source. "Later that night, he was texting two different models he picked up separately, telling each, 'Come meet me.' He had no clue they knew each other and were laughing about the identical messages." Piven, who is staying at the Mercer Hotel for two months, told us, "It was my hope that in texting both ladies, I would make it onto Page Six, so everybody wins."
WINEHOUSE PARTYS ALL NIGHT
For Amy Winehouse, the party doesn't even begin until 2 a.m. The rehabbed singer was up to some late night shenanigans last night, leaving her London flat just before 2 to meet up with her longtime friend (and rumored ex-boyfriend?) Tyler James, and pals Mark Ronson, Kelly Osbourne and Kimberly Stewart at the newly opened Bungalow 8. She left in a cab with Tyler at 4:30 a.m., hung her head out of the taxi window and made faces before popping into a newsstand and picking up a book about… herself! The singer grabbed Amy, Amy, Amy: The Amy Winehouse Story, featuring her very own mug on the cover. Surely the Grammy winner could write a great review of that book!

ANGIE’S BROTHER OPENS MOUTH
Angelina Jolie’s brother James Haven, took his tongue out of his sister’s mouth long enough to comment on why Angie stayed away for the Oscar night festivities. James said:
“Angie is an incredibly strong but also incredibly sensitive woman, and she would always be careful when another woman’s feelings are concerned. She’d go out of her way to make sure there was no situation that would hurt another woman because of her, and I’m talking about a situation like one of Brad’s ex partners or his ex-wife.” If James knows what’s good for him he should keep his mouth shut. Angie has a history of cutting family members out of her life for speaking to the press.

AI’S DAVID HERNANDEZ - GAY STRIPPER
American Idol 7 semi-finalist David Hernandez was a stripper in Phoenix until last fall. He “worked as a stripper at Dick’s Cabaret, appearing fully nude and performing lap dances for the club’s ‘mostly male’ clientele,” the AP reports.
David worked there until Sept. 30, 2007; he auditioned for the Fox reality show two months earlier, on July 30 in San Diego. The club’s manager, Gordy Bryan, said, “He had the look and the type that people like, so he made pretty good money here. … He never renewed his licensing with the state, so he hasn’t been on my roster since then.”
Fox declined to comment to the AP, but last year, Antonella Barba was allowed to stay on the show after pictures of her appeared online. Frenchie Davis, however, was disqualified once
Initial reports that Hernandez worked at a strip club came from Vote for the Worst, which published photos of “David working at Burn, a gay nightclub that just recently closed in Phoenix.” But there was no evidence until now that he actually stripped.
STEVE-O ARRESTED AGAIN
Steve-O was arrested Monday on suspicion of vandalism and drug possession at his Hollywood apartment complex after he taped himself bashing holes in the wall of a neighboring apartment, seemingly with a mind to drive his fellow tenant out of the building. Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman Ana Aguirre said Steve-O, whose full name is Stephen Glover, was busted at 5 a.m. after his neighbor made a citizen's arrest. Officers then allegedly found a small amount of drugs at the residence and learned at some point during the bust that the reality-TV star hadn't paid the piper for a recent traffic violation.
He was booked at the Hollywood Community Police Station, where he was being held as of Monday morning, on suspicion of vandalism, possession of a controlled substance and having an outstanding traffic warrant.
Although LAPD originally characterized the incident as a dispute over a fence, Steve-O's enterprising home-movie-making, as documented on his website, shows fairly clearly that what went down took place indoors.

BRITNEY BANKRUPT (in 4 years)
If Britney Spears keeps spending/not earning at the rate that she is, she’ll be bankrupt within 4 years. Her family has been holding talks with her to try and intervene in her shopping sprees, as Brit’s fortune, by some reports is down to as low as $20 million. Britney’s people are hoping that an up-coming tour will help the troubled pop star regain her financial footing.
DEMI MOORE SPOTED AT MIAMI FILM FEST
Demi Moore was seen at the Miami Film Festival over the weekend. The mother of Rumor Willis was at the premiere and press conference for the appropriately named Flawless during the Miami International Film Festival. Demi plays a diamond thief in the crime/drama movie which comes out at the end of this month.

PARIS – NOT AS DUMB AS SHE LOOKS
We ALL know that celebrities get paid for partying at night clubs. But did you know they also get paid for shopping at trendy stores and eating at trendy restaurants? Hotel Heiress, Paris Hilton is taking her celebrity to a new level. It seems our girl is becoming a one women promotion machine. Paris went shopping on super trendy Robertson Boulevard over the weekend and brought with her a Shaman. The two went into stores like Fred Segal and Kitson before sitting down and discussing his new book “The Path to the Painted Shaman“. The sight of the odd twosome caused such chaos that police were called. The next day celebrity newspapers, blogs, and magazines all carried pictures of Paris and her new friend. What was not published was the fact that Paris got paid for her day out. It seems our girl is not as dumb as she looks. Paris got paid by the stores for shopping there and she got paid by the Shaman for helping publicize his book. Nice work if you can get it.

Britney Spears’ new paparazzi friend is not what she had in mind. Clad in a pink wig this NEWS reporter has been fallowing poor Brit around LA and has even been spotted crying outside the pop star’s home after being denied entrance. Britney may not think it’s funny but we here at DIRT-TRUTH sure do. I think if anyone lands the first interview with Britney it should be this guy.
KATE JOINS OWEN IN MIAMI
Kate Hudson was spotted in Miami over the weekend. This is only adding to the rumors that she and Owen Wilson are back together. Owen is in Miami filming MARLEY AND ME with Jennifer Aniston. It is funny that the two ex-lovers would be in the same city at the same time. Especially since, they have been rumored to be reuniting.
AMY WINEHOUSE DIAGNOSED WITH SKIN DECEASE
People.com is reporting that Amy Winehouse's has been diagnosed with impetigo.
It's a bacterial skin infection that causes pimple-like lumps – and is "is highly contagious, and scratching or touching the sores is likely to spread the infection to other parts of the body as well as to other people," according to the Mayo Clinic's Web site.
The singer has been prescribed drugs ... in the form of antibiotics.
As for how the singer's feeling, "She's fine," a pal tells PEOPLE. "She's not hiding away. She's never been one to care what people think."

PRINCE HARRY RETURNS HOME
Prince Harry returned home to Britain this morning from his active duty in Afghanistan. He reunited with father Prince Charles and brother Prince William, 25, as he stepped off the plane in RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire just after 11:30 am. The Blues and Royals 'Cornet' or Second Lieutenant, 23, had his 10-week stint serving in the military against Afghanistan cut short when his location was disclosed.
The Defence Ministry said the withdrawal decision had been taken "primarily on the basis that the worldwide media coverage of Prince Harry in Afghanistan could impact on the security of those who are deployed there, as well as the risks to him as an individual".
LA LOPEZ NAMES TWINS
Jennifer Lopez has announce the name of her new born twins. MAX and EMME have been welcomed with open arms and hearts to the Lopez clan. However reports are surfacing that Jennifer Lopez is taking motherhood to a new DIVA level. La Lopez and her wasted away hubby Marc Anthony have reportedly hired six bodyguards for their new born twins. The cost is approximately $600,000.00 a year not including benefits. Closed-circuit cameras have also been installed in every room in the house.
But all this cannot be compared to the money spent to sanitize the inter home. There are dispensers of hygienic cleanser strategically placed all around her home. People are instructed to basically scrub before they come close to her precious ones.There has even been a purchase of what's being called 'a lifetime supply' of surgical masks because anyone coming in contact with the twins must put one of the things on.
Is J. LO becoming a germaphobe or is she just taking up where Michael Jackson left off.
