HALLE’S BABY GIRL

Halle Berry has enhanced the girl power in her life.
The Oscar winner and her model boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, welcomed a daughter Sunday in Los Angeles.
This is the first child for Berry, who has not yet announced her new arrival's name.
The actress is "doing great," according to publicist Meredith O'Sullivan.
Berry, also one of the longtime faces of Revlon, met Aubry in November 2005 during a Versace photo shoot. They let their coupled status be known about three months later.
The 41-year-old X-Men star announced her pregnancy in September. She glowingly graced the cover of the February issue of In Style clad in a Grecian-style one-shoulder white dress, hands resting on her prominent tummy.
"I may only do this one time, so I want this moment to be as big as it can be," she told the magazine. "I want the biggest bang I can possibly imagine."
Berry also said that, while she and Aubry hadn't picked out a first name yet, their child would take her dad's last name.

SEAN COMBS LINKED TO TUPAC’S DEATH

Sean " Diddy" Combs has spoken out about a published report that has linked him to the 1994 death of Tupac Shakur.
An article published earlier today in the L.A. Times claims Diddy (and Christopher Wallace aka Notorious B.I.G.) were informed of the plan, hatched by James Rosemond (aka Jimmy Henchman) and James Sabatino, prior to the slaying that sparked a bicoastal rap war.
But Diddy tells PageSix.com, through his rep, that none of this is true.
"This story is beyond ridiculous and is completely false. Neither Biggie nor I had any knowledge of any attack before, during or after it happened. It is a complete lie to suggest that there was any involvement by Biggie or myself. I am shocked that the Los Angeles Times would be so irresponsible as to publish such a baseless and completely untrue story," he said.

FIRST LOOK

Here's your first look at Britney Spears as a receptionist on How I Met Your Mother. Looking slim and sexy (from the shoulders up at least) Britney was reportedly on her best behavior last week while she filmed her cameo, although co-star Neil Patrick Harris said she seemed "fragile but professional." Ah, just how every actress dreams of being labeled.

A KISS IS JUST A KISS

Sean Penn does more than pay lip service to his role as Harvey Milk in Gus Van Sant’s movie about the slain gay rights activist.

Just ask Mark Martinez, the performance artist who plays the late cross-dressing disco singer Sylvester in the movie. He got to lock lips with the Oscar winner.

Martinez's one-day shoot centered around a birthday party for Milk, in which Sylvester performs his 1978 hit, “You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real).” Martinez did the scene dressed in a purple, blue and silver kimono with a matching turban and black bell-bottoms.

Now back to that kiss.

“All of a sudden, Sean’s pointing at me, and he’s talking to the assistant director,” Martinez says. “The AD comes up to me and says, ‘Just to let you know, you are now going to break up Sean and [costar] James Franco’s conversation. You’re going to grab Sean, and Sean’s going to be really excited, and he’s going to kiss you.’”

And that he did. “I’m performing, and he comes onto the dance floor,” Martinez explains. “He grabs me, and he just slaps the biggest kiss on me...It felt like the kiss was forever. I’m like, Is he going to stop? I had to close my eyes. I couldn’t believe it.”

TIME OUT

For his next stunt, Steve-O is going to wind down, cool off and rest up.

A source close to the British-born Jackass star confirms to E! News that he is currently hospitalized at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and expects to be there for the next few days, as a result of his "reckless lifestyle."

"He is not suicidal," the source insisted, adding that any reports suggesting Steve-O is on suicide watch are "totally false."

And in case he was having second thoughts about partaking in some supervised R&R, the L.A. District Attorney's Office has offered up another reason why it might be a good time to change his ways.

Steve-O, whose real name is Stephen Glover, was charged Thursday with felony cocaine possession stemming from his March 3 bust following a run-in with a fellow tenant in his Hollywood apartment building.

Although the unidentified neighbor enlisted the cops to complain about Steve-O banging on his door with a piece of metal—all of which the oft-shirtless daredevil handily videotaped—officers also allegedly found coke at his residence when they responded to the call.

The 33-year-old was arrested on suspicion of vandalism and drug possession and taken into custody at the nearby Hollywood Community Police Station.

Steve-O cooled off behind bars until the following afternoon, when his lawyer told awaiting paparazzi he couldn't comment on the specifics of the case at that time. Meanwhile, his client bragged about swiping some jail-issue sheets, although it turned out guards let him have the bedding because he wasn't wearing a shirt when he was booked.

As evidenced by a series of tapes posted on his website, Steve-O apparently has a serious beef with his neighbor. On the morning of his arrest, he and a group of like-minded pals crowded in the hallway outside the person's door. The posse enthusiastically shouted, "Yeah!" when Steve-O asked, "Everybody want him out?!"

He then proceeded to beat on the door with a metal rod of some sort, and he's also said to have poked holes in the wall between their respective apartments.

RAVES FOR BRITNEY

Looks like the How I Met Your Mother Cast has nothing but rave reviews of their super-famous co-star's performance on the set this week!

According to Us, Alyson Hannigan (forever known to me as "Willow" from Buffy) said Brit's behavior on set was "surprisingly normal" and that the two talked about "clothes and dogs."

Jason Segal called her "great and lovely", while Cobie Smulders said Brit was "very professional and her comedic timing was great!"

Considering how well she nailed her Will & Grace role, we can't wait to see the outcome of her latest return to the small screen!

FATHER OF THE YEAR?

Eddie Murphy certainly isn't gonna win the Father of the Year Award! The National Enquirer reports that Mr. Beverly Hills Cop says he won't have anything to do with his 11 month-old daughter Angel because the baby momma Mel B told him she was on birth control and that she tricked him into getting her pregnant!

Further, the report says Eddie can't stand the thought of seeing Mel, which is why he won't visit with his baby daughter.

The article claims a source says the Nutty Professor had sex with Mel only three times. Now she's suing him for millions!

OH DADDY

Matt Damon has both a new Bourne and a newborn in the works.

The Bourne Ultimatum star, 37, and his wife, Luciana, 32, are expecting their second child together, his rep, Jennifer Allen, confirmed to E! News.

The announcement comes after the Damons walked the red carpet together at London's Empire Film Awards Sunday, where Luciana showed off a baby bump.

The duo's daughter, Isabella, was born in June 2006 and Luciana also has a nine-year-old daughter, Alexia, from her first marriage.

The expectant parents tied the knot in December 2005.

On the professional side, Damon is currently shooting the thriller Green Zone in Morocco.

Meanwhile, on the heels of The Bourne Ultimatum's triple victory at the 2008 Oscars, the actor recently signed on to make a fourth film in the action franchise.

BRITNEY SENDS MAIL TO FEDS

Spears has been the recipient of a number of disturbing letters and packages, including at least one letter mentioning "how to bomb" and others containing threatening language and "weird gibberish."

The situation has become so off-putting that Spears' camp is planning to hand the unwelcome mail over to local law enforcement and the FBI, the source said.

Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman Officer Ana Aguirre told E! News that no specific investigation has been launched in connection with Spears' postal drama, as yet, but that authorities "have been looking at allegations that have cropped up in the past couple of months."

An FBI spokesperson says the bureau doesn't comment on ongoing investigations.

According to the Spears insider, the offending communiqués have been sent to multiple locations associated with the "Gimme More" singer. And in addition to the previously mentioned creep-outs were a letter than mentioned Israel and the Middle East (obviously sent by someone confusing Britney Spears, Pop Star, with Britney Spears, Diplomat).

"A lot of it was disturbing stalker kind of stuff," the source said. "But to be safe her security team is turning it all over to the police and FBI."

In her new album titled HARD CANDY Madonna is working with the music industry’s top producers and artist. She has collaborated with pop golden boy Justin Timberlake and told Interview magazine about the experience. "I really enjoy writing with Justin...We had psychoanalytic sessions whenever we wrote songs first. We'd sit down and we'd start talking about situations. And then we'd start talking about issues or problems or relationships with people. That was the only way, because you know, writing together with somebody is very intimate...that was fun, because he's open and he's got talent. He's a songwriter. I haven't worked with a lot of songwriters where I'm instantly connected and start riffing and playing with the rhythm of the words. Sources say that Jerry Seinfeld is in talks for a new series on his old net. The show is being pitched as "just like Curb Your Enthusiasm, but with Jerry, instead of Larry."
The series, which is aiming for a June premiere, will be set in New York and will feature Jerry Seinfeld playing himself in an exaggerated reality. Will you watch a new Seinfeld show?

Jamie Spears' coconservatorship over his daughter's estimated $100 million estate has been extended until July 31, Los Angeles Superior Court spokesman Alan Parachini said Wednesday.

No other details were given, but the temporary power Britney's dad has had over her affairs was scheduled to expire on Monday, and it's well-documented that Jamie and his attorneys have been adamant about stopping efforts made on Britney's behalf to wrest control away from the conservators, including a recent move apparently orchestrated by Sam Lutfi to transfer the case to federal court.

Jamie and attorney Andrew Wallet were named coconservators of Britney's finances and Jamie was put in charge of her welfare on Feb. 1, the day after the Blackout artist was admitted to UCLA Medical Center's psych ward for evaluation, her second hospitalization that month.

CHRISTIAN WINS PROJECT RUNWAY

Christian Siriano sewed up the top spot on Project Runway Wednesday, beating out Jillian Lewis and Rami Kashou for the victory. The 21-year-old designer is the youngest winner in the show's history.

SWAYZE BATTLES BRAVELY

Patrick Swayze is undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer but does not have just weeks to live, the actor's reps and doctor said Wednesday.

"Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment so far," Dr. George Fisher, Swayze's personal physician, said in a statement. "All of the reports stating the timeframe of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue."

Fisher's remarks were in rebuttal to the National Enquirer, which broke the news of Swayze's illness on its website and said the Dirty Dancing star had recently dropped 20 pounds and been given only five weeks to live.

"Patrick is continuing his normal schedule during this time," the actor's reps said, "which includes working on upcoming projects."

PIVEN THINKS HE’S SINGLE

JEREMY Piven doesn't seem to know he has a serious girlfriend. The Entourage star, who's supposedly in love with model Lillian Grant, continues to hit on women at every party he goes to in New York. The Microsoft bash at the Twelve21 club Monday was no exception. "He collected a lot of numbers," said a source. "Later that night, he was texting two different models he picked up separately, telling each, 'Come meet me.' He had no clue they knew each other and were laughing about the identical messages." Piven, who is staying at the Mercer Hotel for two months, told us, "It was my hope that in texting both ladies, I would make it onto Page Six, so everybody wins."

WINEHOUSE PARTYS ALL NIGHT

For Amy Winehouse, the party doesn't even begin until 2 a.m. The rehabbed singer was up to some late night shenanigans last night, leaving her London flat just before 2 to meet up with her longtime friend (and rumored ex-boyfriend?) Tyler James, and pals Mark Ronson, Kelly Osbourne and Kimberly Stewart at the newly opened Bungalow 8. She left in a cab with Tyler at 4:30 a.m., hung her head out of the taxi window and made faces before popping into a newsstand and picking up a book about… herself! The singer grabbed Amy, Amy, Amy: The Amy Winehouse Story, featuring her very own mug on the cover. Surely the Grammy winner could write a great review of that book!
